At least four people have died from the disease and health officials are investigating the outbreak.

Legionella bacteria have been identified as the cause of an outbreak of bilateral pneumonia in Argentina. The information was confirmed by the Ministry of Health of the country.

WHO and the Pan American Health Organization are investigating the outbreak and assisting local health authorities with investigations.

The outbreak would have already caused four deaths . Another eleven infections are being monitored. Symptoms include fever, muscle and abdominal pain, diarrhea and shortness of breath.

Health experts are analyzing water and air conditioners related to those infected to identify possible contamination or poisoning.
