Miguel Ángel Jiménez is a virologist and research professor at the Animal Health Research Center (CISA), belonging to the INIA-CSIC. He is also the author of Emerging Viruses and Global Change , an outreach blog about viruses and diseases they cause . As stated in his inaugural post , “it is about disseminating information about emerging viruses without alarmism, with simple language, but without renouncing scientific rigor, in order to reach a wide audience, since the interest in this topic is every greater time ”.
