Shepparton went into lockdown at midnight tonight, and the state's COVID-19 Commander, Jeroen Weimar, said more cases have emerged overnight.
"We have 10 new cases in Shepparton in today's numbers," Mr Weimar said.
"Six of those are linked across four different households.
"That includes a case involving a grand final party with 17 other people and other people we know that are positive at that particular event," he added.
