The number of confirmed dengue cases in the city of São Paulo in the first six months of the year is already more than triple those registered throughout the year 2020.

According to the city hall’s epidemiological bulletin, by the end of June they confirmed 6,551 cases of dengue. In the entire past year, 2,026 records of the disease were registered. More than half (3,091) of the cases were confirmed in April. In June there were 331 occurrences. Last year a person died of dengue. This year there have been no victims so far.
