The bacteria which causes Legionnaire’s disease has been found in two separate cooling towers in the St George area.  Legionella bacteria was found at St George Hospital and an office block in Kogarah.   Routine testing of the cooling towers at St George Hosptial tested positive for the bacteria on November 29, as well as at an office building in the Kogarah business area on December 2.
